1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using PageGPT ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

PageGPT is an AI chatbot platform that allows you to train custom chatbots on your website content, PDFs, and text, then embed them on any site.

2. Description of Service

PageGPT provides the following services:

• AI chatbot creation and configuration
• Website crawling and content indexing via Firecrawl
• PDF, TXT, and custom text training sources
• Vector embedding and semantic search powered by OpenAI and pgvector
• AI-powered chat responses via DeepSeek V3
• Embeddable chat widget (one-line script tag)
• Conversation analytics and history
• Custom appearance, branding control, and domain restrictions

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Page-Based Plans

PageGPT operates on a subscription model with page-based limits. 1 page = 2,500 cleaned characters of content. Pages are shared across all your chatbots on the plan — there is no per-chatbot cap.

Plans

• Free: 1 chatbot, 30 total pages, 100 messages/month — no charge
• Starter ($19.99/month): 10 chatbots, 1,000 total pages, 2,000 messages/month
• Pro ($49.99/month): 30 chatbots, 5,000 total pages, 10,000 messages/month

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically
• Payment is processed securely by Creem — we never store card details
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
• Message and page usage resets monthly on your billing date

4. Pages and Usage Limits

Your plan includes a shared pool of pages across all your chatbots:

• Training a source consumes pages from your pool (content characters ÷ 2,500)
• Resyncing a source costs the same page count as the original crawl
• When your pool reaches 0, training new sources is blocked — an upgrade prompt is shown
• We do not silently allow overages
• Message limits are enforced monthly — chatbots return an error response when the limit is reached

5. User Responsibilities

As a user of PageGPT, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• Use the service for lawful purposes only
• Only train chatbots on content you own or have the right to use
• Not use the service to generate harmful, misleading, or illegal content
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse our API
• Not share your account credentials with others
• Comply with all applicable laws and third-party platform terms

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you upload or train on. By using PageGPT, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely to operate the service.

Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring you have the right to use all content you train on
• Accuracy and appropriateness of chatbot responses to your visitors
• Compliance with copyright, privacy, and data protection laws

Platform Rights

PageGPT and its original content, features, and functionality are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. Key practices include:

• Your training content is stored in Supabase and Cloudflare R2
• Content is used only to answer questions for your chatbot — never to train AI models
• We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties
• You can delete your data at any time from the dashboard

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use PageGPT to:

• Train chatbots on content you do not own or have rights to use
• Generate or serve harmful, abusive, or illegal content to visitors
• Attempt to overload, exploit, or reverse-engineer our systems
• Misrepresent AI-generated responses as human-authored
• Violate any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights
• Use the service for spam, phishing, or any fraudulent purpose
• Create chatbots intended to deceive, manipulate, or harm users
• Share your account credentials with others

8a. Acceptable Use Policy — Content Safety

PageGPT is a platform for building legitimate, helpful, and informational AI chatbots for websites. The following is strictly and explicitly prohibited on our platform, regardless of intent, framing, or context:

• Sexually explicit content: Training a chatbot on, or using it to serve, any sexually explicit material, pornography, nudity, or depictions of sexual acts — including simulated or AI-generated depictions.
• NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content: Any content that would be considered inappropriate for general audiences, workplaces, or public platforms.
• Adult content: Chatbots intended for adults only that depict, suggest, or promote sexual themes, sexual violence, or non-consensual acts of any kind.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): Any depiction — real or AI-generated — of minors in sexual contexts. This is illegal and will be reported to the appropriate authorities immediately.
• Graphic violence or gore: Content designed to shock, disturb, or glorify extreme violence or bodily harm.
• Hate speech and discrimination: Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.

PageGPT actively monitors platform use. Any account found training on, serving, or attempting to generate prohibited content will be:

• Immediately suspended without refund
• Permanently banned from the platform
• Reported to relevant authorities where required by law

9. Service Availability and Limitations

PageGPT is provided "as is." We cannot guarantee:

• Continuous, uninterrupted service availability
• Perfect accuracy of all chatbot responses
• Specific crawl or training completion times
• Compatibility with all website embed environments

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PageGPT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including loss of profits, data, or goodwill resulting from your use of or inability to use the service, any errors or inaccuracies in chatbot responses, or any interruption in service.

Our total liability for all claims relating to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our AI service:

• Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has begun
• If you experience a verified service outage or technical failure, we may issue credit at our discretion
• Contact support if you experience significant service issues

12. Account Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:

• Your access to PageGPT will be suspended
• Your embedded chatbots will stop responding
• We may delete your account data after 90 days (upon request)
• No refunds will be provided for unused subscription time

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through our platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
