Content You Train

When you train a chatbot, we store:

• URLs and web content crawled via Firecrawl
• PDF, TXT, and other files you upload (stored on Cloudflare R2)
• Custom text content you paste manually
• Vector embeddings of your content (stored in Supabase pgvector)
• Conversation history between your visitors and your chatbot

Usage Information

We automatically collect:

• Log data (IP address, browser type, operating system)
• Usage statistics (chatbots created, messages sent, pages trained)
• Cookies and session identifiers managed by Clerk
• Performance and error data

Payment Information

We do not store your credit card information. Payments are processed by Creem, and we receive only transaction details (amount, status, subscription ID) for account management.

3. How We Store and Protect Your Data

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:

• Supabase (PostgreSQL + pgvector) — User accounts, chatbot configs, training sources, conversation history, and vector embeddings (encryption at rest)
• Cloudflare R2 — Uploaded files (PDFs, TXT, etc.) on secure object storage
• Clerk — Authentication and user identity (enterprise-grade security)
• All data transmission uses SSL/TLS encryption (HTTPS)

Data Retention

We retain your account and chatbot data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual chatbots, training sources, or conversations at any time. After account closure, data is purged within 90 days.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only with trusted service providers:

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

7. AI and Your Content

When you train a chatbot, your content is processed as follows:

• Web pages are scraped via Firecrawl and chunked into ~1,000 character segments
• Chunks are sent to OpenAI's embedding API to create vector representations
• When a visitor asks a question, relevant chunks are retrieved and sent to DeepSeek V3 for a response
• Your content is not used to train any AI models — it is only used to answer questions for your chatbot
• All AI processing uses your data solely to operate the service you've subscribed to

8. Children's Privacy

PageGPT is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
