Getting Started with PageGPT

PageGPT lets you build an AI chatbot trained on your own content — website pages, PDFs, and custom text — in just a few clicks.

Step 1: Create a Chatbot

From your dashboard, click Create New Chatbot. Give it a name and choose a primary color that matches your brand. Click Create.

Step 2: Add Your Content

Once your chatbot is created, you'll land on the configuration page. You have three ways to train it:

• Links — Paste your website URL or sitemap and PageGPT will crawl and index the pages automatically.
• Files — Upload PDF or TXT files (up to 100 MB each).
• Text — Paste any custom text directly.

Step 3: Train the Chatbot

After adding your sources, click Retrain. PageGPT will embed all your content using OpenAI's text-embedding-3-small model so it can answer questions accurately.

Step 4: Test It

Use the floating chat widget preview on the right side to ask questions and verify responses before going live.

Step 5: Embed on Your Website

Go to the Embed tab and copy the <script> snippet. Paste it before the closing </body> tag of your website. Your chatbot is live!
